Overview:

Oracle has new typeface updated — Oracle Sans.

The project is showcasing the exciting new Oracle typeface. Oracle Sans balanced functional and expressive with tits sharp wedges and angularity, it's modern and human, good for both UI and display, which inspired by Oracle logo and created in partnership with Dalton Maag.

The typeface has different and humanized personalities, just like Oracle brand—sophisticated and intelligent. Type is an important segment to show Oracle new brand look and feel to internally and customers.

Concept

Showcasing the new typeface 7 days before the 2019 Oracle OpenWorld. As the first piece of brand asset and a very important one, Oracle owns it's typeface. We wanted to celebrate team achievement over the past year by promoting customer and friend with social media posts.

The beginning of the video is to show audience with overall look and feel of the typeface.  Then Highlighting key point of the typeface which inspired by Oracle logo the alphabets' wedges and angularity. Oracle Sans has 9 different weights in font family. So I decided to end the video by showing the variety and flexibility of the font.
